Master Of The Lathe.
A Look At The Skills Of Master Brush Maker William Barber.
This post was created to give reference to the work of William Barber, of Roseville, California. William Barber was known for his skill with a lathe. The primary product of this skill, was the making of brushes. Bill, as he was known by his friends, produced shave brushes and cosmetic brushes. Bill's brushes are well known in the shaving community and in the film industry.
Bill was a member of the shaving forum "Sharp Razor Palace". He went by the name of "Pixelfixed". Bill passed away in April of 2016. I don't have a photograph of Bill to present here. Much of his work can be viewed in the archives of Sharp Razor Palace.
Here is a PDF file that can be referenced by owners of his work or anyone who appreciates skill and beauty.
